The Freedom Bird. A civilian airliner which would one day take us back to the world. When a Freedom Bird flew over everyone would stand at attention and cover their heart or take off their hat or salute.

I think this is the dunnage yard at the east end of Newport

Ship at Newport between stacks of CONEXs

North Saigon. I think at Tet of 1968. Going south we pass Newport then cross a small river then take a right and that is where this is.

Same area.

Still same area.

As you left Tan Son Nhut you see this sigh "Welcome to sunny Saigon"

This is in the shop of the 572nd TC on TC Hill. The man with the glasses was Werner or Wagner. Not sure, but he was a really nice person. I do not know the other man.

The same two.

This man was a sargent and he came from Tennesse
